About us

Ramp It Up is a disability-led online magazine and podcast.

It provides a platform for people living with disabilities and long-term health conditions to attend events and cultural activities, share their experiences and write reviews.

  • ‘Living with…’ features from lived experience
  • Live events, exhibitions and workshops
  • Film, book and album reviews
  • Reviews of accessibility products and apps

Ramp It Up has developed from the Access Arts for All online journalism programme.

Participants wanted a platform to share their experiences and provide an insight into accessibility from a lived experience perspective. Michelle Stannard and Emily-May Palmer run the site, with support from Laura Graham, Ayesha Chouglay and Co-relate Communication.

Ramp It Up and Access Arts for All are funded by Arts Council England.
